The Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Zoran Tegeltija, stated during today’s conversation in Sarajevo with the UN Resident Coordinator for BiH, Ingrid McDonald, that he highly appreciates the current expert and analytical assistance and support of UN agencies in the reform processes in BiH.

Tegeltija pointed out that BiH remains committed to strengthening human rights, democracy, environmental protection, the position of young people, economic development and increasing the quality of life of citizens through the fulfillment of the Sustainable Development Goals, defined together with the UN.

During the meeting, they discussed the future cooperation of BiH with the UN and the establishment of the Joint Steering Board between the UN and BiH for the implementation of the “Framework for Cooperation for Sustainable Development between the UN and BiH in the period 2021-2025,” the Council of Ministers said in a press release.

The interlocutors exchanged views on the UN Regional Program for Strengthening the Role of Youth in Promoting Mutual Trust, Understanding and Constructive Dialogue in the Light of Compliance with the New UN Framework for Sustainable Development in BiH and Support to Young People in BiH and the Region.
