The Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Zoran Tegeltija, stated yesterday that it is realistic to expect that Corridor Vc will be completed by 2028.
Tegeltija said that the summit in London will discuss projects that are in the implementation phase, as well as future projects, with an emphasis on grant funds that are being withdrawn within the investment and economic plan for the Western Balkans.
”These will be some new projects, some phases of further cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD),” Tegeltija said to agency Srna.
He also mentioned that the EBRD is a major credit investor in BiH and one of the partners in implementing the so-called investment and economic plan for the Western Balkans.
“The importance of cooperation with the EBRD is the fact that four decisions related to projects with the EBRD were confirmed at today‘s session of the Council of Ministers. These projects are for solid waste disposal in the area of Zivinice, water supply through the ‘Blue Water’ (Plava voda) project, which includes Central Bosnia, as well as public transport in Sarajevo, and the project for the construction of a tram line from Ilidza to Hrasnica,” Tegeltija explained yesterday.
Tegeltija expressed his belief that all new projects that are extremely important for the completion of Corridor Vc will be confirmed, and that it is realistic to expect that it will be completed by 2028.
