NGO Marathon and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton inform citizens that on Sunday, September 21, 2025, from 07:30 to 12:00, there will be a temporary change in the traffic regime due to the international sports event Sarajevo Run Fest 2025. Traffic will be suspended in the following streets: Start and finish: Marijin dvor, area in front of Crvena jabuka Route: Zmaja od Bosne – Bulevar Meše Selimovića – Malta – Azize Šaćirbegović – Vilsonovo šetalište – Ložionička – Topal Osman-paše – Zvornička (Bulevar Ivice Osima) – Grbavička – Zagrebačka – Vrbanja – Franca Lehara. Also, from 04:30 to 13:30, traffic and parking will not be possible in Franje Račkog and Franca Lehara streets.

During the race, police officers from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton will be deployed at key points along the route to regulate traffic and allow for normalization of traffic immediately after the participants have passed. In agreement with the competent authorities, flexible and phased measures have been planned to maintain maximum vehicle flow wherever possible.

Thanks to good coordination with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, traffic is expected to be normalized immediately after the last runners have passed. NGO Marathon particularly emphasizes that the start of the event this year has been moved 30 minutes earlier compared to previous years, precisely so that the Festival would end earlier and have as little impact on the daily lives of citizens as possible.

The organizers ask citizens moving around the Vilsonovo šetalište area to use the sidewalk exclusively, in order to ensure the safety of all participants and the smooth running of the event. Sarajevo Run Fest 2025 will gather more than 2,500 runners, recreationists, children, families and visitors from 52 countries and bring sportsmanship, togetherness and inclusiveness to the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

NGO Marathon invites all citizens to make this event last with their presence and support
remembered as a holiday of sports and togetherness, and Sarajevo is presented in the most beautiful light.
