Windmill Podvelezje to be built?

windmill PodvelezjeAfter Government of FBiH gave approval to the Federal Ministry of energy, mining and industry for issuing an energy permit for the building of the windmill Podvelezje, of installed power of 48 MW and planned annual electricity production of 10 GWh, Parliament is on the move.

Amil Kamenica, the executive director for capital investments of the Elektroprivreda BiH said that it is needed to provide a lot of papers and permits for the realization of the project.

“Tender is in the preparation and the preparation of the tender documentation is in progress. Financing is ensured and everything run by its course“, said Kamenica, emphasizing that he expects for all arrangements on the Windmill Podvelezje to be finished this year, in order to be built next year.

From other project announced by Elektroprivreda BiH, Kamenica said that the construction of the Hydro power plant Vranduk should start as well.

The primary goal of this project is the contribution to the total reduction of the emission of CO2 and other pollutants, improvement of the total ratio of the energy produced in Hydro and Thermal power plants of Elektroprivreda BiH, and the contribution to the economic development of the Federation of BiH.

Kamenica sad that Elektroprivreda BiH is planning the construction of new hydro and thermal capacities.
