Tešanj: Construction of Social Housing Units

13023391_1156347061082915_1239117400_nRepresentatives of the Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees of FBiH, the Ministry of Labor, Social Policy and Refugees of the Zenica-Doboj Canton and the Municipality of Tešanj signed yesterday in Zenica the Agreement on construction of social housing units, which will permanently solve the issue of refugee settlement Vila in Tešanj.

Total value of the first stage of the project is 388.431 EUR, of which 308.593 EUR are provided by CEB project and 79.838 EUR will be provided by the Municipality of Tešanj.

Mayor of Tešanj Municipality Suad Huskić explained that the refugee settlement Vila is located in industrial zone and that, apart from solving the issue of housing of its users, the implementation of this project will free two additional spaces for the construction of business capacities in the industrial zone.

Works should begin until the end of the year.

In this way, the Municipality of Tešanj will get additional 16 social housing units which will solve the issue of housing of socially endangered citizens, stated the Cabinet of the Mayor of Tešanj Municipality.
