protest 2According to Fena, there are currently more than 6000 workers from Dita, Konjuh, Polihem, Resod Guming and Poliolchem, as well as many other citizens, retirees and students of the Electrotechnical school in front of the building of the Tuzla Canton government. Unemployed citizens from Srebrenica, Gračanica and Gradačac announced their support for the protestors, and said that this time they are ‘prepared to go until the end’. They began gathering today at noon in front of the government building.

Some protestors started throwing rocks and eggs at the Tuzla Canton government building, and others yelled out ‘out with the government’ and ‘thieves, thieves’. Employees of Dita laid out flowers and lit candles in front of the government building. In the end, protestors took down and burned the flag of the Tuzla Canton government building.

According to unofficial information, the Prime Minister of Tuzla Canton, ministers and employees have left the Tuzla Canton government building with police assistance, despite the fact that they called on representatives of the companies to meet them today at 13:00 for a meeting in the government building in order to discuss possible ways to resolve the problems of the workers.

The government building remains protected by members of the special police unit of the Ministry of Interior, and they have set up a cordon 20 meters from the entrance to the building.
