In the presence of numerous guests and officials from the region and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the 52nd International Fair of Agriculture and Food Industry – Plum Fair was officially opened in Gradačac today.

More than 150 exhibitors from Germany, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia, Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina will be presenting themselves on 5,000 square meters of open and closed space.

During the three-day event, organized by the Gradačac Tourist Board and under the auspices of the City of Gradačac, numerous sub-fair events are planned, such as the 8th International Beekeeping Fair with international participation, the First Competitive Exhibition of Dairy Breeds, as well as a series of professional and scientific conferences.

There are also interesting outdoor exhibition areas of agro-mechanization and greenhouse production.

The fair event was opened by the Prime Minister of Tuzla Canton Irfan Halilagić, who emphasized that the Government of Tuzla Canton is a partner in this event.

“We want the Fair to be successful and bring some new values, new ideas and new cooperation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region,” said Halilagić.

The Plum Fair is the oldest specialized fair event in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This year’s fair will be open until August 30th.
