The Action “One Candy, One Child” in Tuzla

jadan-slatikisThe representatives of “Zemlja djece” from Tuzla conducted the humanitarian action titled “Jedan slatkiš, jedno dijeto” (one candy, one child) for the eighth consecutive year. This action aimed to gather New Year’s gifts for socially vulnerable children of Tuzla, from 2 to 15 years old. 600 packets are gathered through actions this year.

70 students volunteers of primary and secondary schools of Tuzla municipality participated in this action and they stimulated citizens in supermarkets to show humanity and sensitivity towards the youngest citizens of Tuzla.

New Year’s gifts are distributed to children of Daily center and TTC “Telex”, to children in neighborhoods Kiseljak, Poljice and Mihatovići, to children suffering from celiac disease and to children of primary school “Gornje Hrasno”, who had the first meeting with Santa Claus this year, announced the association.
