The Ambassador of Japan to BiH attended the handover of an Ambulance to the Health Centers in BiH

On the 27th of September and 10th of October 2024, Ambassador KINEFUCHI attended the handover ceremony for an ambulance vehicle to the Health Care Center in Zavidovići and the project completion ceremony for an ambulance vehicle to a Health Care Center in Bijeljina, as well as the handover ceremony for the provision of equipment and renovation for the Health Care Center in Lukavac.

The Director of the Health Care Center in Zavidovići, Ms. Amira Hadžić expressed her great gratitude for the donated ambulance vehicle and medical equipment installed in the vehicle, which will lead to a significant improvement of the services that the Health Care Center provides to patients.

Ms. Danijela Đukin, director of the Health Care Cener Bijeljina showed her appreciation and emphasized that the donated ambulance vehicle will ensure safe and efficient emergency transport. Ms. Sedija Arapčić, director of the Health Care Center in Lukavac was grateful for the donation which will enable to provide proper treatments and environment for the patients.

Ambassador KINEFUCHI expressed his hope that these three assistances will bring great benefit to the residents of Zavidovići City, Bijeljina City, Lukavac City and beyond.

On the 11th of October 2024, Ambassador KINEFUCHI attended the handover ceremony of an ambulance vehicle to a health care center Fojnica, in the presence of Mr. Jusuf Zuka, Director of the Health Care Center in Fojnica and Mr. Sabahudin Klisura, Mayor of Fojnica City.

Mr. Jusuf Zuka, director of the Health Care Cener Fojnica extended his gratitude and emphasized that the donated ambulance vehicle will ensure safe and efficient emergency transport. Additionally, the medical equipment installed in the vehicle will enable the appropriate treatment of the patients.

Ambassador KINEFUCHI expressed his satisfaction that the project has been successfully completed and hopes that this assistance will be of great benefit to all the residents of Fojnica City and beyond.

The Government of Japan granted 63,822 Euro for “The Project for Provision of Ambulance for Health Care Centre in Zavidovići”. The project is expected to contribute to the improvement of transportation service and timely provision of medical aid for more than 1,600 patients.

The Government of Japan granted 63,061 EUR for “The Project for Provision of Ambulance for Health Care Center in Bijeljina”. The project is expected to provide safe and reliable emergency transport to more than 1,730 patients annually.

The Government of Japan granted 28,871 EUR for “The Project for the provision of Equipment and Renovation for the Rehabilitation Department of the Health Care Centre in Lukavac”.

The Rehabilitation Department’s capacity will be expanded and improved through the provision of medical equipment and the renovation of facilities, which will benefit approximately 40,500 residents annually.
