The annual rate of inflation in Bosnia and Herzegovina in May was two percent, which was also recorded in April this year.
In May of this year, compared to last May, the prices of food and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 0.9 percent on average, housing and overhead expenses by 0.8 percent, prices of furniture and household equipment by 1.6 percent, services in restaurants and hotels by 7.1 percent, transportation by 4.5 percent, while the prices of clothing and footwear fell by 7.4 percent at the same time, according to data from the Agency for Statistics of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The prices of products and services used for personal consumption in BiH, measured by the consumer price index, in May compared to April this year, recorded an average decrease of 0.2 percent, Fena writes.
