The Assembly of the CS approved the Draft Budget for Next Year

The Sarajevo Canton Assembly today adopted the Draft Budget of the Sarajevo Canton for 2026 in the amount of 1,609,110,744 BAM, and the Draft Budget Execution for 2026.

The public debate will be held in cantonal administrative bodies, local self-government units, cantonal institutions and public enterprises and will last 20 days.

The comments, proposals, suggestions of representatives and opinions of the working bodies of the Assembly are submitted to the Government of the Sarajevo Canton, which organizes and conducts the public debate, through the Ministry of Finance of the Sarajevo Canton.

After the public debate, the Government of the Sarajevo Canton is obliged to submit to the Assembly of the Canton a Report on the results of the public debate containing comments, proposals and opinions, as well as to provide an explanation of the reasons why certain comments, proposals and opinions were not accepted in the preparation of the Draft Budget of the Canton for 2026.
