The Average Pension in BiH is 597 BAM

The payment of pensions for July starts in Republika Srpska today, it was announced from the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund of Republika Srpska.

The payment of pensions for July covered a total of 271,699 beneficiaries, of which 219,957 are in the Republika Srpska, and 51,741 outside the RS.

For the payment of the pension for July, 99.02 million BAM in net amount is needed, ie 100.26 million BAM in gross amount.

The average pension is 405.63 BAM and makes 40.80 percent of the average salary in Republika Srpska.

The amount of the lowest pension for 40 and more years of service is 415.82 BAM and makes 41.83 percent of the average salary in RS.

For a full insurance period of 40 years, the average pension for July is 597.31 BAM which is 60.14 percent of the average salary in RS.

The amount of the highest pension for July in Republika Srpska is 2,138 BAM.

Revenue on the basis of contributions for pension and disability insurance in July amounted to 88.76 million BAM.

The structure of beneficiaries of rights for July consists of old-age pensions with 59.42 percent, family pensions with 27.15 percent, and disability pensions with 13.36 percent.
