The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) in the Council of Ministers managed to get in touch with six people on the list for evacuation from Gaza who failed to reach the Rafah border crossing, it was announced on the profile of the MFA on the “X” social network.

“There are four adults (two men and two women) and two children. They are doing well at the moment and everything is being done to ensure that they are evacuated quickly and safely. Communication is slow and difficult,” the MFA announcement states.

During the night, 36 persons from Bosnia and Herzegovina were successfully evacuated from the Gaza Strip, while six persons did not appear at the Rafah crossing, stated earlier the Ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to Egypt, Sabit Subašić.

“We are on our way to Cairo, after we finished evacuating 36 people from the list of 42 last night,” said Subašić.

The Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Egypt sent a request for the evacuation of 54 persons from Gaza, namely 29 citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina and their close relatives.
