The BiH Presidency held a Session in Sarajevo, several Decisions were adopted

The Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) held its 16th regular session yesterday, where several decisions were adopted.

The Presidency of BiH has taken note of the Information of the Ministry of Defense of BiH on the declaration of forces in the United Nations (UN) Peacekeeping Capability Readiness System (PCRS).

The Presidency of BiH has given consent to the Ministry of Defense of BiH to send a verbal note describing the contribution to the PCRS, in accordance with the procedures of the UN.

The Presidency of BiH tasked the Ministry of Defense of BiHto, in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH, take measures and actions within its jurisdiction to declare the above-mentioned contribution through the System of Readiness of Capabilities for UN Peace Operations and to create conditions for their possible deployment in UN Peace Operations, upon adoption of the Decision of the BiH Presidency, and in accordance with the procedures defined by law.

The Presidency of BiH passed the Decision on the destruction of ammunition and mine-explosive means of the Armed Forces of BiH. The Presidency of BiH tasked the Ministry of Defense of BiH to destroy quantities of defective/unsafe ammunition and mine-explosive devices within the framework of the prescribed procedures and methods of destruction, and by implementing international agreements, contracts and decisions accepted by the competent institutions of BiH, in capacities inside or outside the defense system, which were identified as such after the control and technical inspections at LSM “Kula”.

The BiH Presidency adopted the Report on the execution of the Budget of the institutions of BiH and the international obligations of BiH for 2023, which will be submitted to the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.

The BiH Presidency adopted the Report on the work of the Commission for Refugees and Displaced Persons of BiH for the year 2023. The BiH Presidency took note of the address of the supervisor for the Brcko District of BiH on the issue of blocking the work of the Commission for the Preservation of National Monuments of BiH and the harmful consequences for investment projects in BiH.

The Presidency of BiH requires the members of the Commission to express their opinions on the findings and statements of the supervisor, on the reasons for blocking and obstructing the work of the Commission for the Preservation of National Monuments of BiH, and to submit written statements to the Presidency within 30 days from the date of entry into force of this conclusion BiH, Klix.ba reports.
