‘The Coalition of Three’ no longer in Coalition with SNSD

The BiH Parliamentary Assembly held meetings of the Troika leaders and state representatives, at which they discussed the strategy of these parties for preserving peace and the European path of BiH, and agreed to break off the coalition with the SNSD for the sake of “preserving peace and unblocking the European path of Bosnia and Herzegovina”.

The meeting, as stated in the statement, reached full agreement on the need to firmly oppose attacks on the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, by actors whose activities represent a significant challenge and threat to peace in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and block the functioning of institutions and the process of our country’s accession to the European Union.

“In this regard, it was concluded that the SNSD led by Milorad Dodik is violating the peace and security of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region through unconstitutional actions. In addition, it was concluded that the attempts to block the European path by representatives of this party violated the coalition agreement, which primarily implies the adoption of European laws and a series of decisions of the Council of Ministers that ensure a major step forward on the European path, in the interest of all citizens of our country,” said the Coalition of Three.

It was concluded that the Coalition of Three leaders will request the party bodies to make a decision to terminate the coalition agreement with the SNSD.

The leaders will also inform international partners in the country and abroad about the agreed positions.

“In this complex and challenging moment for the state and all its citizens, we call on all political and social actors to join us in protecting peace and the European path of Bosnia and Herzegovina,” they said.

The parties thanked the opposition MPs who today clearly demonstrated their European commitment and who, by supporting European laws and their urgent adoption, prevented the blockage of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s European path with their votes, according to a statement by the parties (Our Party, People and Justice and the Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina), reported the Public Relations and Marketing Service of the SDP BiH. Dodik: SNSD will not join the Coalition of the Three parties either

SNSD leader Milorad Dodik stated today in Banja Luka that this political party will not join the parties either.

“Now the news is going around that the Troika will not join the SNSD, so we will not join them either, but we will not talk about it today, we will tomorrow,” Dodik said at a press conference.
