The Government of Republika Srpska (RS) granted the Etmax company a concession for the construction and use of the Nevesinje solar farm, a project worth 880 million BAM. The concession is granted for a period of 50 years, and the contract will be signed in the next 60 days, Biznis Info reports.

”The deadline for designing is two years, and the deadline for carrying out the works is four years,” says Maksimovic, director of the Etmax company.

He explains that the total power of the solar farm is 500 megawatts and that it is made up of one power plant of 200 and six power plants of 50 megawatts.

Also, the director of Etmax pointed out that the significance of this project is reflected in the fact that the domestic company, which is already a leader in the field of designing and building solar power plants, will get the opportunity to significantly accelerate the development of the entire renewable energy sector in our country and to improve the production capacities of this branch of industry in the long term.

Namely, the Government of RS obliged Etmax to pay about 7 million BAM as a one-time concession fee.

Also, for each kilowatt of electricity from these plants, RS will receive 0.0055 BAM.

“If the concessionaire does not sign the concession contract within 60 days, he loses all established rights,” the Government of the RS notes.
