The Council of Ministers of BiH Today on the Draft Law on the Courts of BiH

At today’s session, the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina should consider the Draft Law on Courts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was proposed by the Ministry of Justice of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This legal solution was supposed to be discussed at the session held on August 23, but it was then removed from the agenda due to disagreements about the future competences of the state court.

Consideration of the Proposal for a decision on displaying the flag of the European Union in ministries, administrative organizations and other bodies of the Council of Ministers of BiH, proposed by the Cabinet of the Chairperson of the Council of Ministers of BiH, is also planned.

The agenda should also include the Information on the state of migration in BiH for the first six months of 2023, as well as the Information on the preparation of the Migration Management Transition Plan, which was submitted to the BiH Council of Ministers by the BiH Ministry of Security.

Information on NATO’s recommendations according to the document “Information on the implementation of activities from the Reform Program of BiH 2021 and the Reform Program of Bosnia and Herzegovina 2022”, proposed by the Commission for Cooperation with NATO BiH, is one of the planned items on the agenda.

Ministers, in the second round of voting, should express their opinion on the Information on the Implementation Plan of the “Defense Review” document and the Implementation Action Plan of the “Plan for the Development and Modernization of the Armed Forces of BiH 2017-2027”, proposed by the Ministry of Defense of BiH.

Among other things, the agenda should include the Proposal for a Decision on the appointment of the BiH Coordinator and Deputy Coordinator for the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA III) for the period 2023-2027, as well as Information on activities related to the participation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. in the European Union Program for the Single Market, Fena reports.
