The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed the Proposal of the Law on refugees from Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina confirmed today the Proposal of the Law on refugees from Bosnia and Herzegovina and will address it to a Parliamentary procedure. This proposal was drafted by the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees.

According to the proposal of the Law on refugees, refugees and displaced persons from Bosnia and Herzegovina have the right to return to their previous residence, to choose another residence and to ask for the return of property or compensation of the same.

With this proposal, it is clearly defined that the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees will, in the period of 120 days from the implementation of this law, in accordance with the authorities of the entities and Brčko District and municipalities, pass all necessary instructions and design a unique list of users. This list of users, according to their needs and requirements from the country of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be the basis for the permanent solution of their rights to own a home.
