The Day of Mountaineers marked on Ozren Mountain

The central marking event of the Day of Mountaineers of Canton Sarajevo 2018 took place in the mountain house “Ozren”, in the organization of the Mountain Association “Igman”.

According to the president of the Mountain Association “Igman “ and the vice-president of the Union of Mountaineers of CS Suada Filipovic, this gathering took place in a pleasant atmosphere and mutual socializing.

A lecture on the natural and historical characteristics of Ozren Mountain near Sarajevo took place during the meeting of mountaineers at the locality of the mountain house Ozren (1310 m).

Later on, the participants visited one of the peaks of the Mountain Ozren, the peak of Bandier (1,453 meters above the sea level).

Joint lunch – mountain beans was served in the mountaineer’s house as well, and awards and recognitions were also awarded during this meeting.
