The Minister of Labor and Social Policy of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Adnan Delić, confirmed this for BHRT on the call for help from the European Union with the aim of overcoming the energy crisis.
He said in “Jutru za sve” that it was not an oversight, but that people used the data they had and reported, that is, people who are not even alive.
“So everything is possible with us, for people who are dead to vote in elections, and also for dead people to register for such and similar public calls.”
Citizens can now check the status of their application and the process is extremely simple. All you need is to enter a unique social security number on the website provided for this purpose, a few clicks and after that your name and surname and color will appear, whether you are green, that is, whether you are, whether your application has been approved or if it is red, in that case it is rejected.
450 thousand registered persons, 216 thousand households were registered, over 150 received.
“The number is quite large, we can say, the number of applicants. The number of applicants is 216 households and 629,000 people who live in, who are members of those households and 152,000 who met the criteria of this public call and, unfortunately, 62,000 who did not meet the criteria of this public call, according to the rules and criteria, a public call was announced to which four categories could apply, which we have been talking about for several months already,” said the minister.
What is interesting is that of these 60,000 and 2,000, 63,000, more precisely 872 applications that did not meet the criteria, 38,417 of those who have no right to apply at all, Delić said.
“In an inspection of the official records of the Federal Ministry of Labor and the Federal Institute of PIO and the Tax Administration, it was determined that no member of the joint household according to the aforementioned application belongs to any of the aforementioned categories of the household. So, those who essentially did not have the right to apply for this were applying public call. Also, 14,000 of those who have an amount exceeding the guaranteed pension refer to pensioners and, of course, they could not be on the preliminary list of those who met the criteria either. There are 6593 applications that receive additional income in the inspection, that is, in the official records of the Federal PIO Institute. It was determined that at least one member of the joint household received a pension in an amount greater than the amount for guaranteeing the pension. There are 3,000 of those who have registered self-employment and we, of course, excluded them from this public call. And 2,756 are persons who they have double unique social security numbers. 492 applications are earned income over the minimum wage and there are others, so applications, there are even dead people who applied.”
The site is available until 12/12, that is, until Tuesday, and people whose applications are basically not accepted, have the right to appeal.
“According to these objections, that is, to these rejected applications, we see essentially that the largest part, i.e. almost 40,000, out of a total of 62,000, could not even apply for the public call at all, so there will be very little or almost no number of those who , whose complaint was accepted, because this was all done in software, so it is simply impossible in software, I mean it is possible, of course, for the software to make certain mistakes, but there is an appeal deadline for that. If it is determined that the software made a mistake, human an error is absolutely excluded here, of course, we will correct everything that is eventually determined that the software made a mistake, but it will be very difficult for someone to prove a certain right that they do not have at all and that someone could not apply for, but did submit an application and now he’s complaining again, so he couldn’t even apply at all.”
When it comes to the payment of funds, Delić said that they are doing everything in order to make the transfer by the new year and that local self-government units can immediately pay the funds to the end users.
“So by this new year, by 2024, I hope we will succeed in that and we will succeed in completing this work.”
