The death toll from brutal Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip has risen to 9,770 people, including 4,800 children and 2,550 women.

The spokesman for the Ministry of Health in Gaza, Ashraf al-Kudra, spoke to reporters at Al-Shifa Hospital and said that at least 270 people were killed in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip in the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 9,770 since the start of the Israeli bombardment on October 7.

He said that among those killed were at least 4,800 children and 2,550 women.

Al-Kudra pointed out that 70 percent of the victims of Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip are women, children and the elderly.

He added that at least 2,660 people, including 1,270 children, are missing in the ruins of the buildings destroyed in the Israeli attacks.

“Israel has been carrying out genocide and ethnic cleansing in Gaza for 30 days. Hospitals in Gaza will not be able to provide service in just a few hours,” warned Al-Kudra.

Stressing that the safe passage of aid and fuel to Gaza should be ensured, Al-Kudra alleged that Israel had lied about the safe passage of aid.

Al-Kudra also pointed out that Palestinians wounded in Israeli attacks could not be transferred to hospitals in Egypt for three days.
