On Thursday, Director of the Border Police (GP) of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mirko Kuprešaković, received a visit from Randall Wilson, coordinator of the State Department’s Counter-Terrorism Office at the US Embassy in Sarajevo.

At the meeting in the Main Office of the GPBiH, the interlocutors discussed the activities that are carried out with the aim of suppressing illegal migration, cross-border crime, the fight against terrorism, as well as other activities related to border security, the GP BiH announced on Friday.

Also, Kuprešaković and Wilson exchanged opinions on the implementation of the PISCES program, which will improve the capacities of the BiH Border Police in performing border checks and managing the state border. In addition to the above, the possibility of holding specialist training for members of the support and control units of the BiH Border Police was considered.

The interlocutors also emphasized their determination to continue improving bilateral cooperation in all segments of work.
