The Doctors of the Konjic Health Center resigned because they haven’t been paid since June

Most of the doctors of the Konjic Health Center signed a collective resignation two days ago and handed it to the management because they have not received their salaries since June.

This information was confirmed by the president of the Union of the Konjic Health Center and the doctor of that health institution, dr. Dzana Boloban.

As she explained, the majority of doctors signed a collective resignation, the exception being dentists and residents, five of them.

She pointed out that the collective agreement was delivered to the management on Friday at the end of working hours, when their notice period begins.

If their problem is not solved during the one-month notice period, this health institution will be left without staff, which could also mean the closure of the institution and the complete collapse of Konjic health care.

It is important to note that Boloban previously told that the situation at the Konjic Health Center has become unbearable and that this is why doctors and technicians are leaving that institution and going abroad.

In addition to salary delays, according to her, there are many reasons for dissatisfaction, and the worst is that, as she emphasizes, the problems have been piling up for years and have not been solved.

“The dissatisfaction of all employees is increasing every day because they are denied basic human and existential rights,” said Boloban.

To recall, the employees of the Konjic Health Center are looking for financial consolidation that would solve the problems of that health institution.

“Our demands are clear, and that is the acceptance and resolution of financial consolidation, payment of all previous and the latest salaries in the coming period,” Boloban said on behalf of the employees of the Konjic Health Center, which, as she warned, is about to collapse, Klix.ba reports.
