In the earthquake that was felt in some parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina around 4:45 p.m. on Friday with epicenter between Zavidovići and Žepče, no material damage has been reported so far – confirmed the director of the Cantonal Administration of Civil Protection of Zenica-Doboj Canton Džavid Aličić.
The earthquake, as he points out, had a magnitude of around 3.6 on the Richter scale at the epicenter and at a depth of around nine kilometers and six kilometers away from Zavidovići, and was also felt in other cities of that and neighboring cantons.
“The ground shook strongly and for a short time, but luckily we have no reported damage or casualties or injuries. We hope it stays that way.
It is clear that such earthquakes cause discomfort and fear among citizens, because in the last six months we have had several earthquakes with the epicenter in the area of our canton,” Aličić points out.
