The event “First days of the diaspora of Bosnia and Herzegovina”, which will be held from August 20 to 29 in Sarajevo, will unite numerous projects with diverse content intended for all ages, the organizers announced at the press conference today in Sarajevo.

Hasib Hadzic, president of the Bosnia International Forum (BIF) project, which organizes the event, said that their goal is to establish the largest and most accurate database of the diaspora of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and to maintain two-way communication.

“Through the “Service for Diaspora” project, the goal is to build mutual trust and strengthen relations by implementing the remaining projects,”  Hadzic pointed out.

A concert by Alen Islamovic was announced for August 27 as part of the event, who stated that he would support the Bosnia International Forum because he learned through contacts with the diaspora that there is a need for such an organization.

“I haven’t performed in Sarajevo for 17 years since the Bijelo Dugmet concert and I will be glad to play that concert for my dear Sarajevos and all the guests who will be in the city,” said Islamovic.

It was stated that “Project 5525” will be organized as part of the “First Days of the BiH Diaspora”, through which investments in concrete projects by investors from the BiH diaspora should be realized.

Also, as part of the event, a Summit of mayors/chiefs and representatives of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be held, Evening of Cultural and Artistic Societies, Evening of Sevdah, Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina. of tourism, BHRanaFest, and Kids & Family Day.
