The event “Selecting the best sportsman in 2012 ” will be held tonight

The event “Selecting the best sportsman in 2012.”, will start tonight at 21.00 pm in Sarajevo at the hotel “Holiday Inn”.

BiH, for the 12th time, will get its king and queen of the sports.

In the competition for the best sportsperson in BiH are Kemal Mešić, an athlete, Mirza Taletović, a basketball player, Vedad Ibišević, a football player, while in the category of sportswomen are Ivana Ninković, a swimmer, Emina Hadžiahmetović, a table tennis player and Larisa Cerić, a judoka.

This event is organized by “Nezavisne Novine”(Independent Newspaper) and the RTV BiH, under the auspices of the Chairman of the Presidency of BiH Nebojsa Radmanovic, and with the strong support of the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH and in partnership with the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In addition to prizes for the best sportsperson, the prizes will be awarded for the best team, best coach, most promising sportswoman, most promising sportsman, an award for life’s work, for fair play, for the development of sport, the best athletes in the sport for the disabled, the best team in the sport for the disabled and the award of the readers.
