At yesterday‘s session, the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) determined the Draft Budget of the FBiH for 2022, in which 2.5 million BAM is planned only for the purchase of equipment for the needs of the Federal Police Administration.

Federal Minister of the Interior Aljosa Campara explained that the mentioned funds will be used for the purchase of equipment, special vehicles for the needs of the Special Police Unit, weapons, as well as material and technical means.

“In the current year, we plan to hire 60 new police officers to the Federal Police Administration, which will directly affect the strengthening of the security system of BiH,” said Minister Campara.

The Minister pointed out that preparations are being made for expanding the accommodation capacity of one part of the Special Police Unit in the “Mahir Begic” Training Center in Suhodol.

“We are carrying out all the above activities in cooperation with the Federal Police Administration, which we intend to further strengthen both in material and technical terms, as well as in terms of personnel,” told Minister Campara.
