The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina accepted the information of the Federal Administration of Civil Protection about the floods in the Republic of Slovenia at today’s emergency telephone session with a proposal to respond to the request of the Republic of Slovenia for international assistance in remediating the consequences of the floods, announced the Public Relations Office of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina gives consent to the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina to send operational protection and rescue forces from the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of the operation to provide international assistance to Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Republic of Slovenia in eliminating the consequences of catastrophic floods.

The Federal Administration of Civil Protection is responsible for immediately delivering this conclusion to the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina on behalf of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, through the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and to coordinate the sending of international aid to the Republic of Slovenia and to report to the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina upon completion of the operation.

Also, the Federal Administration of Civil Protection is in charge of submitting to the Federal Ministry of Finance a request for the allocation of funds from the Current Reserve of the FBiH Government for the year 2023 to finance the costs of engaging protection and rescue services.
