The member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Željko Komšić, spoke with the chargé d’affaires of the Embassy of the United States of America in Bosnia and Herzegovina, John Ginkel, about the possibilities of intensifying investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina, announced the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The chargé d’affaires of the American embassy informed Komšić about the discussions he held regarding the possibility of new investments from the United States in the field of energy, infrastructure and real estate.

Komšić points out that investments from the United States are welcome not only because of their economic importance, but also as an indicator of the safety of investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which can be an additional incentive for other investors.

The interlocutors also exchanged opinions on current processes related to the election of a new high representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as on the necessity of continuing discussions on reform legal solutions that would contribute to improving the investment environment and attracting new investments to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
