With yesterday’s Decision, the Federal Government accepted the indebtedness of the FB&H under the Contract on Funding between the European Investment Bank (EIB) and B&H for the realization of the Project Corridor 5C in the amount of 100 Million EUR for the Public Enterprise Motorways of the FB&H JSC Mostar.
These means are intended for the realization of the Project Corridor 5C at the section Pocitelj – Bijaca, sub-section Pocitelj – Zvirovici. The means are approved to the FB&H with the deadline of 25 years and a six-year grace period, and the loan will be transmitted to the Motorways of the FB&H.
At the same time, the Government of FB&H gave consent for the conclusion of the Subsidiary agreement with B&H, as well as for the conclusion and consonance of the appropriate Sub-contract with the Motorways of the FB&H which will, for the purpose of regular payment, define the conditions of the recovery of means.
The Government authorized the Federal Minister of Finance for the signing of the Subsidiary agreement and the Sub-contract on the loan.
The sub-section Pocitelj – Zvirovici in the length of 12 kilometers starts at the loop Pocitelj, approximately 1.8 kilometers away from the settlement of Domanovici. The route extends across the Pocitelj plateau towards the south and at the locality of the village Gradina turns towards west, where it crosses the Neretva River in the northern side of Pocitelj.
Crossing of the Neretva River, as well as the main road M17 and the regional road and the railway Ploce – Sarajevo, will be realized with a bridge with a length of 980 meters and height of columns of 85 meters. After that, the route enters a more unfavorable terrain which it overcomes with two shorter tunnels (240 m and 460 m) and two 155-meters long viaducts.
Thereafter, the highway extends across the plateau of the Crna Greda Mountain towards the loop Zvirovici (Montenegro), where it ends, announced the Press Office of the Government of the FB&H.
