trams from KonyaThe City of Sarajevo and the Mayor Ivo Komsic expressed gratitude to the Administration and the friendly people of the Turkish city Konya, which delivered five trams to the Cantonal company GRAS.

These vehicles represent a part of the contingent of 20 trams.

That was realized with the agreement reached during the visit of the Mayor Komic to this partner city in November 2014. By this, and Agreement on the cooperation of Sarajevo and Konya, signed in December 2007, was implemented, and it relates to the improvement of the mutual cooperation in the fields of interests of these two cities, including the field of the urban public services.

Delivered trams to GRAS are the result of the international cooperation of the City of Sarajevo, which is currently one of the key factors of the development of BH capital.

It is about trams with, until now, the largest number of seats, and therefore will be able to accommodate a larger number of passengers.

Thanks to this partner and friendly relations, the City of Sarajevo helps the Cantonal company GRAS to renew the vehicle fleet, and therefore to offer citizens of Sarajevo more comfortable public transport, to reduce congestions and to enable them to reach their destinations faster and safer.
