The Flag of BiH is on Top of Mount Everest!

The flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina is on top of Mount Everest!

Tomislav Cvitanusic, an alpinist, triathlete and Ironman, sent a message:
“At 08:21 in the morning local time we reached the summit. Just returned to C4. Connected to new bottles of oxygen. I’ll call you all in two days when I get to the base.”
Tomislav climbed all night. It was morning to make sure he was on top of Everest.

He entered the “death zone” and survived and the mountain rewarded him. Daylight needed to return to, because the top is half way, and the descent can be more dangerous. Now he is in a tent, safe, at 8000 m.

“Everyone who follows Cvitanušić on this incredible expedition could learn how much acclimatization to harsh conditions and cold and dry air is necessary in order to take any step further, then the importance of weather conditions and mental strength, which, as Tomo also noticed is a more demanding undertaking when climbing Everest than a physical one,” it is stated in the statement earlier.
