This solemn event was attended by numerous officials and representatives of business community.

President Egrlic expressed his gratitude to the Government of the Republic of Turkey, especially the Ministry of Economy and Minister Zybekci, on the initiative itself, as well as all the support for the opening of the Representative Office.

He also expressed his hope that the Office will justify its existence and perform its role in the process of strengthening and intensifying mutual cooperation between BiH and the Republic of Turkey, and that it will be helpful for the businessmen of the aforementioned two countries in a quick and easy establishment of contacts and contracting jobs, as well as in resolving all the potential issues.

According to President Egrlic, another aim of the Representative Office is to promote the potentials of BiH in the best way possible and attract a number of investors from the Republic of Turkey through direct contacts, organization of meetings, presentations, round tables etc.

On behalf of the Ministry, which provided its full support and contribution to the opening of the Representative Office from the very beginning of the initiative, the Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH Mirko Sarovic thanked the Government of the Republic of Turkey and Minister Zybekci for their support and cooperation, and he noted the importance of the Republic of Turkey for BiH.
