The delegation of the well-known company “China State Construction Engineering Corporation Ltd – CSCEC” from China, led by Deputy Director General Tang Hao, visited the Foreign Investments Promotion Agency (FIPA) in order to get introduced with the work and activities of the Agency and the possibilities for investment in projects in BiH.

The company CSCEC occupies fourth place at the list of the largest companies in China and it employs around 300,000 people. It is one of the largest investment-construction companies that are operating in 129 countries all around the world.

Business operation of CSCEC is based on development, design, and investment in the field of real estate, infrastructure and energy.

In the year of 2017, the company was ranked as 24th in “Fortune Global 500” in the world and the 3rd in “Fortuna China 500” in China.

It was stated that this Chinese company considers BiH as a challenging destination for investment and they will discuss the possibilities of investment in potential infrastructure projects in our country, i.e. roads, bridges, airports and ports and they are also interested in energy projects.

It was agreed that FIPA will also provide its full support to this great company and that meetings with authorities and competent ministries will be organized after the selection of the project.
