The “Gastro Fest 2023” event will be held from May 3 to 6 in Mostar in the afternoon from 4 to 12 p.m., and Mostar restaurateurs, women’s associations, as well as local producers of healthy and homemade food will be presented at it.

The venue of the food festival is the Mostar tepa, which is located in the immediate vicinity of the Old Bridge, which will give a special charm and beauty to this event.

“The offer will be diverse, from coffee, home-made juices, jams made from the fruits of our Herzegovina, honey, cakes, pancakes, crackers, cheese of all kinds and dairy products, as well as many sweet and salty delicacies,” said  Maja Kajtaz, director of Public Enterprise “Tržnica – markets” d.o.o. Mostar.

As she points out, the selling price of the exhibited items is determined by the bidders themselves, who will adapt to the purchasing power of the buyers with the aim of making both parties satisfied.

“First of all, we will have quality goods that we are sure will delight everyone who tastes them,” said Kajtaz.

In addition, she says, they also planned conversations with their guests.

“In addition to the pleasant atmosphere and music, the program includes conversations with our guests who will conjure up and possibly reveal the secrets of well-made Herzegovinian specialties,” Kajtaz.

In addition to all of the above, the Gastro Fest should also improve the tourist image of Mostar.

”The beginning of May is the most beautiful part of the year in Mostar, where tourists come in large numbers. At the same time, the Economy Fair was organized, which gathers visitors from the whole region, and one can say the world, so that part of their visit will also be a trip to the old part of the city, which will enhance their stay and make it unforgettable,” emphasized Kajtaz.

She invited all citizens to come and support this festival.

“Gastro fest is a novelty in our city and I hereby invite the residents of Mostar and beyond to visit us and make this fest recognizable and part of the tradition for future generations,” said Kajtaz.

The event “Gastro Fest 2023” is organized by PE “Tržnice-pijace” d.o.o. Mostar in cooperation with the City of Mostar, and participants can register until April 17.
