The Government of Republika Srpska borrowed another 50 Million BAM

The Government of Republika Srpska took on debt today by issuing bonds in the amount of 50.9 million BAam, according to data from the Banja Luka Stock Exchange.

The Ministry of Finance of the Republika Srpska sold 50,925 bonds with a nominal value of 1,000 BAM.

Bids with a total value of 51,129,153 BAM were received, while the amount of collected funds reached 50,925,000 BAM.

It is a medium-term debt. According to data from the Banja Luka Stock Exchange, the issue was realized in June 2026, and the full principal amount of 50.9 million BAM is due on June 11, 2031.

An effective interest rate of 5.6 percent is calculated on this amount.

As BN writes, only from January 1 to June 1 this year, the public sector in Republika Srpska is responsible for more than 2.7 billion BAM.
