The deputies of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina voted to dismiss the deputy state ministers. The dismissal was voted on without debate, after which the emergency session was ended.

Aleksandar Goganović (SNSD), Deputy Minister of Defense, Ognjen Janjić (DEMOS), Deputy Minister of Communications and Transport, and Marijana Mojić (United Srpska), Deputy Minister of Civil Affairs, were dismissed.

However, for this dismissal to come into effect, it must also be voted on in the House of Peoples of BiH.

The proposers of the dismissal initiative are the chairmen of the SDP BiH parliamentary groups Saša Magazinović, Nihad Omerović, NS – BHI KF Sabina Ćudić, and deputies Jasmin Imamović, Albin Muslić, Rejhana Dervišević, Ermina Salkičević-Dizdarević, Denis Zvizdić, Mia Karamehić-Abazović, Predrag Kojović and Aida Baručija.

In their explanation of the initiative, they stated that recent political developments justify their claim that “the coalition gathered around the SNSD, led by Milorad Dodik, is violating the peace and security of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region through unconstitutional actions.”

The next session will be held on April 15.
