A Family of Five lost a Home in Fire in a few Minutes

The five-member Glišić family from Laktaši lives in difficult conditions. No income, and now without a roof over your head. Unfortunately, the fire destroyed the house where they lived. And while they are waiting for a new home, they are asking for the help of all good people.

Veljko Glišić knows best what it’s like to wake up one morning without a roof over your head… to be without everything in a few seconds. A new misfortune befell him in an already difficult life. A fire destroyed his family home. Swallowed home. The fire was taking part by part. There was no escape.

“That day it was around 10, 11 o’clock, something broke and then suddenly burst into flames, it was probably an electrical cable, the fire spread in two minutes. It’s not convenient, but what will I do”, Veljko Glišić begins the difficult story.

Veljko’s grandson Đorđe also reluctantly remembers that fateful day. He arrived at the scene late. The fire has already taken everything away.

“Creepy. I was in shock. I couldn’t believe it, everything was gone in a second,” Đorđe wrote.

The Glišić family lives from agriculture and animal husbandry. They have no income. They are unemployed. The only one who works is twenty-five-year-old Đorđe. However, due to his employment, they were left without a monthly allowance, Goran’s disappointed mother tells us. Because of the substandard house, they were forced to move their lives into containers.

“Now that it’s a little colder, I don’t know what, how, where,” emphasizes Gorana.

Five of them lived in a dilapidated, now burnt house. Among them is a little girl.

What hurts them the most is that the youngest member of their family, Nina, was left without a roof over her head. Her biggest wish is a new room and new toys, which she is left without. Nina is 6 years old. A cheerful and smiling little girl does not have many wishes, N1 writes.
