The proposal of the budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the year 2013, which was addressed for an urgent parliamentary procedure by the Prime Minister of Government, Nermin Nikšić, should be on the agenda for the members of the Parliament of FB&H today.

The Chairman of the House of Representatives of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Fehim Škaljić said that the unfinished reconstruction of the Government on the federal level mirrors the inefficiency of the Government to decide on the budget and proceed to its lawful procedure in November. Chairman Škaljić also reminded that the conditions posed by the IMF for the decision on the budget for 2013 to be passed by December is because of the possibility of that the officials of financial institutions could by the end of the 2012 year decide whether or not they will give the second loan of the fourth stand-by arrangement. He also added that Prime Minister Nikšić’s decision making and acts were proven as being according to the Constitution.

Škaljić said: ” The budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, according to this proposal, in its capacity has around 2, 2 billion BAM. From that total amount, around 700 million BAM goes to the loan commitments, around a billion of BAM goes to capital grants and expenditures, and around 250 million BAM for paychecks and around 200 million for different material expenses”. The proposal for the budget will be discussed today on the regular session of the House of Representatives of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is scheduled at 12:00 p.m.
