The Implementation of the Project “Prevention of Peer Violence – Police Officer Friend” Starts Tomorrow

superbusThe mobile and educational program Superbus that operates in cooperation with SOS Children’s Villages in B&H starts with the implementation of the project “Prevention of peer violence – police officer friend”.

The implementation of the series of educational workshops that will take place during October and November in five elementary schools of the municipality Center Sarajevo will include eighth and ninth grades, as well as teachers and school counselors.

The aim of the project is to primarily raise awareness about the presence of violence and to educate children about the different types of violence, but also to identify the persons and organizations that help victims of violence, to facilitate an open dialogue and to strengthen the trust between students and police, to promote a sense of social responsibility towards victims of bullying and all other forms of violence.

The project is financially supported by the Municipality Canter, and the support for the project will be provided by the team of policemen from the project “The work of Police in Community” from the Municipality Center.

The project “Police Officer Friend” is created in cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior Affairs of the Sarajevo Canton.
