The International Commission for Missing Persons (ICMP) provided support to the associates of the Memorial Center in Potočari, who received invitations for a hearing in the District Public Prosecutor’s Office in Bijeljina in recent days.

In a post on the X social network, ICMP stated that it is necessary to stand by those who defend the truth.

“We provide full support for 26 current and former employees and associates of the Srebrenica Memorial Center who were summoned for questioning by the Zvornik police. Stand by those who are fighting for truth, memory and human rights,” stated a post on the X social network.

As a reminder, the director of the Srebrenica Memorial Center, Emir Suljagić, announced on Friday that two more associates of this center received a summons for hearing based on the order issued by the District Public Prosecutor’s Office of Bijeljina.

Last week, it was announced that 26 associates of the Memorial Center had received a summons for a hearing due to an investigation into alleged tax evasion.

The Srebrenica Memorial Center strongly condemned the actions of the Zvornik Police Department and the District Public Prosecutor’s Office in Bijeljina, stating that it was the most extensive action directed against persons associated with the Memorial Center so far.
