The Israeli Army launched an Attack on Rafah shortly after the ICJ ordered a halt to the military Offensive

The Israeli army launched new attacks on Rafah, a city in the southern Gaza Strip, shortly after the International Court of Justice (ICJ) ordered Israel to immediately halt its military offensive against the Palestinian city.

In airstrikes by the Israeli army on several locations in the central part of Rafah, many Palestinians were injured and transported to the Kuwait Hospital.

After the fierce attacks, black clouds could be seen over Rafah.

Residents of Rafah said they are worried and scared about new attacks by the Israeli army.

Medical teams and members of the Civil Defense continue their activities in the center of Refah to reach the injured after the bombing.

The International Court of Justice (ICJ) earlier today ordered Israel to immediately halt its military offensive on Rafah, a town in the southern Gaza Strip.

The ICJ said the March 28 amendment to the order was due to the change in circumstances due to the attack on Rafah, where the displaced Palestinians had taken refuge. According to UN agencies, more than 800,000 have fled the city due to the Israeli ground invasion.

The court stated that the humanitarian situation in Rafah is now “catastrophic and has worsened” since the March 28 order.

The International Court of Justice ordered Israel to report to the court within one month on the progress in implementing the measures ordered by that institution, AA writes.
