Israeli soldiers opened fire on a humanitarian aid convoy returning from the north of the blockaded Gaza Strip, said the director of the United Nations (UN) Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Middle East (UNRWA), Thomas White, and stated that fortunately no one was injured in the attack.
In a message he shared on the “X” platform, White noted that Israeli soldiers opened fire on a humanitarian aid convoy returning from the northern Gaza Strip.
It is about a convoy that was attacked while it was on a route set by the Israeli army, and White confirmed that no one was injured in the attack.
Stating that one vehicle in the convoy was damaged in the attack, White said:
“Humanitarians should never be targeted.”
The Israeli army has not yet commented on the attack.
