In an interview for Gazzetta dello Sport, Pagliuca was asked to say who should be brought by Inter in the summer transfer window. Pagliuca instantly responded that the Neroazzurri should bring Džeko.

“Inter should take Džeko! Why not? Icardi should stay, but what if he gets injured, who will score goals? Palacio? I am convinced that the striker of Roma will start scoring goals again,” Pagliuca said.

Apart from Džeko, Pagliuca thinks that Inter needs another midfielder.

“Veratti would be an ideal solution, but given that it is hard to bring him, Inter should go and take Soriano”.
