Bosnian-Herzegovinian competitors and their clubs achieved great results at the European Club Taekwondo Championships, which were held from 12 to 14 April in Tallinn, winning a total of six medals and three cups in the team standings.
The gold medals in the Estonian capital were won by Džejla Makaš (TKD Novi Grad Sarajevo) in the 46 kg category and Ada Avdagić (TKD Sarajevo) in the 53 kg competition.
The silver medals were won by Benjamin Husić (TKD Novi Grad Sarajevo) in the senior women’s 73 kg competition, and the medal of the same brilliance ended up around the neck of Katarina Kraišnik, who was defeated by Ada Avdagić in the BiH final.
Erol Nući (TKD Mladost) also became the European vice-champion in the 87 kg category, while Džejna Hamzić (TKD Šampion Sarajevo) won bronze in the senior women’s 57 kg competition.
In addition, the seniors of TKD Novi Grad Sarajevo took second place in the overall ranking, while the senior women of this club were also second.
In the senior women’s competition, third place went to TKD Sarajevo.
