UEFA President Ceferin confirmed the Official Visit to BiH

President of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Aleksander Ceferin confirmed his first official visit to the Football Association of BiH on Wednesday, November 29, 2017.

A gala dinner for UEFA President and his closest associates is planned on the occasion of the official visit of a renowned guest to the Football Association of BiH. On this occasion is planned the visit of presidents of national football associations from the region (HNS, FA Serbia, FA Montenegro, NZ Slovenia and FA Macedonia), who will be guests of the Association.

Mr. Aleksander Ceferin will visit the headquarters of the Football Association of BiH on the second day of the visit, and after that will follow the reception in the Presidency of BiH and the Council of Ministers of BiH. Conversation on the current situation and the future of football in BiH is planned during this visit. After that will be organized a press conference at the Sarajevo Airport “Butmir”, after which the UEFA delegation will travel to Moscow to join the drawing lots of the World Cup 2018 in Russia.

It is known that UEFA is giving even stronger and better support to the Association after the last year’s election of the current leadership of the Football Association of BiH. This is reflected in numerous development projects and concrete programs of financial assistance for the Football Association of BiH. This support is even more intense after the election of Aleksander Ceferin as the President of UEFA in September 2016. This is confirmed through concrete forms of cooperation, which further strengthens the position of the Football Association of BiH in the European football family.

The Football Association of BiH can count on the funds from UEFA on its path of achieving its prosperous mission and realization of strategic goals.

The active cooperation with state institutions in BiH is a real precondition for the complete and efficient realization of UEFA projects that are helping the development of sports, primarily football, in BiH.
