After the owner of the hotel in Jablanica brutally beat the employee, the mayor of Jablanica Municipality, Damir Šabanović, spoke out and strongly condemned the violence committed, and wished the fellow citizen a speedy recovery.

“Violence can never and should not exist in any form, and the response to it must be quick and sharp. I strongly condemn the event in which our fellow citizen was badly beaten and I expect the police and the prosecutor’s office to do everything to bring the person responsible to justice punished”, said Šabanović.

He added that as the mayor, he will make sure that the Municipality of Jablanica in the coming period reconsiders any cooperation with business entities that, in addition to disregarding workers and their rights, also carry out physical violence against them.

“The protection of human and labor rights is a fundamental value and this kind of behavior in the 21st century is unacceptable. I wish our fellow citizen a quick and successful recovery,” Šabanović concluded.
