The meeting in Banja Luka between representatives of the Eight and SNSD on the formation of government at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina has ended.

As SNSD leader Milorad Dodik announced after the meeting, they discussed the formation of the Council of Ministers and other bodies at the BiH level with representatives of the “eight”.

“The SNSD with its coalition partners, the ‘8’ and the HDZ, is definitely the structure that will together form the government at the BiH level. We have agreed that next week the teams we mentioned will hold meetings in order to start solving issues related to the economy and institutional movement “, said Dodik.

Dodik says that they discussed common policies in the rapid formation of the Council of Ministers and other bodies at the BiH level, and that support for this was agreed upon.

“We agreed to support this and that we will hold meetings where we will operationally elaborate and agree on the specific positioning of all political structures in Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said Dodik after the meeting.

Dodik pointed out that SNSD with its coalition partners Eight and HDZ is definitely the structure that together will form the government at the BiH level.

“We have the full capacity to form stable government structures at the BiH level, and within that we are doing what we need to do to ensure normal functioning in accordance with the BiH Constitution,” said Dodik.

He added that it was agreed that next week meetings will be held within the teams they designate in order to resolve, as he says, issues of the economy and institutional movement, energy, infrastructure and everything that is part of common interest.

It is already known that Dodik has put conditions before the Osmorka that are eliminative and without which the SNSD will not participate in the government negotiations at all.

“What is crucial for us is to get guarantees that the processes from the RS that are important to us will be unblocked, namely the Buk Bijela hydroelectric power plant, the airport in Trebinje and this gasification through the RS. Our final determination. If there is no agreement on that, if there is no unblocking, we will not go to power, why would we sit there like ikebans. Do you want us to clear up relations? We will clear them up. Do not block any project in the RS and we we will not block projects in FBiH,” said Dodik at the press conference yesterday.

As previously announced, Dodik announced a meeting with representatives of the HDZ BiH, with whom the Eight already agreed on the formation of the government, Klix.ba reports.
