The appointment of the new convocation of the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina was confirmed at today’s extraordinary session of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament.

The House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament today appointed a new government following the decisions of the High Representative in BiH Christian Schmidt, who unblocked this process after eight years.

The former convocation of the FBiH Government led by Prime Minister Fadil Novalić (SDA) was in a technical mandate.

With 51 votes for and one abstention, and with two votes against, the decision was made to confirm the new convocation of the FBiH Government.

Members of the newly elected government then took the solemn oath, Fena reports.
