The New Increase in Cigarette Prices from April 1

cigarettesCertain types of cigarettes by Tobacco factory Rovinj and Tobacco factory Banja Luka will be increased from the 1st of April by 10 to 20 pfenigs per box, as confirmed from the Indirect Taxation Authority (ITA).

The new price of cigarettes “York NEO red and blue” and “York NEO 100s” will amount to 4, 60 BAM, while the price for “York slims blue and lila” will be increased from 3.50 BAM to 3.60 BAM.

When it comes to products of the tobacco factory Banja Luka, from the 1st April price of cigarettes “Eva” will be increases from 4.10 BAM to 4.20 BAM. Prices of cigarettes in BiH were increased last time at the beginning of this year, when the price of some of them were increased up to 60 pfenigs per box.

Tax payers and other persons that are engaged in the trade of cigarettes and 12899525_1746705022232841_98736752_otobacco are required, if they want to increase the price of cigarettes, to notify ITA one month earlier.

Also, they must inform all of their partners who sell cigarettes on the market that when entering new retail price they must list all stocks of cigarettes and calculate and pay the difference excise tax on cigarettes determined as stocks in the inventory lists.
